![]() In the end, I didn't quite manage to squeeze everything I wanted to within the game because it got to the point where I realised it was no longer feasible to keep coming up with new ideas to implement, or we'd wind up with an unfinished game come the deadline. I've never been very good at limiting myself, and with such an awesome team, I just wanted to try and do as much as possible. It sure wasn't easy, and I wound up adopting the rather unhealthy state that I tend to when working on game jam projects, getting very little sleep, and doing little of anything besides spending time on the project. On top of that, I learned how to add SFX to all my buttons, make a working telephone, play around a lot more with UI, and thanks to the epic art from all the artists on the team, make scenes look more alive than ever before ^-^ This was my first attempt at creating and implementing an ARG, so I hope anyone who stumbled across it enjoyed it. If you only want a specific section, I'm gonna put em as big headers to make it easier to scroll past :3 POSTMORTEM I'm just gonna talk about a few things here to do with its creation, recommend some of the brilliant games I played and loved from the rest of the jam, and list the songs that got me through it all. ![]() Well, that's Spooktober VN Jam over and done with! I learned a lot in the process this time around, more than I ever expected to, haha, and had a whole lot of fun as well :3 I still need to fix a few things with the project, but aside from that, it's all wrapped up. ![]()
